Accessibility
Everyone should be able to manage their money with us, whatever device they use and however they use it. This page explains what we do and how to tell us when something gets in your way.

Our aim
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across this website and online banking. We check new pages against them as we build, and we fix problems as soon as we find them.
What you can expect
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, and a Skip to content link at the top takes you straight past the menu.
- Buttons, links and form fields have labels that screen readers can announce, and error messages say what went wrong and how to fix it.
- You can zoom in or make the text larger in your browser without losing content, and every page adjusts to fit a phone screen.
- Text and buttons are designed to stand out clearly from the background.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, our animations and loading effects stay still.
- Photos that carry meaning have a text description.
- Statements and receipts open as normal web pages, so you can read them with your usual tools or print them.
Things we know we can improve
Live chat, when it is switched on, is provided by another company, so we cannot control every part of how it works. If you cannot use it, you can always reach us by email or through the Support page in online banking, and you will get the same help.
Tell us about a problem
If something on our website or in online banking is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, write to info@silvermerebank.com. Tell us the page and what happened, and we will reply in writing and help you complete what you were trying to do.
